Opera Australia is sued by child-abuse victim
NewsA former member of the children’s choir who was sexually exploited by a company tenor is suing Opera Australia and the perpetrator.
The tenor, David Lewis, has been released from jail after serving two years of a three-year sentence. A court has ordered his assets to be disclosed.

Don’t think it’s on the increase – just talked about more and so much more of life coming under the umbrella now of ‘abuse’. Interfering sexually with children or bashing them up is just simply appalling, immoral and often an abuse of power – an adult against a young, vulnerable child.
