    Them bloody vaccines.

You either get the shot and fall sick, or you don’t get the shot and catch the mutant.

Noone at Slippedisk or anywhere else seems ever able to spell Eugene ( concertmaster’s) last name right…..
Can’t anyone at least try? By now he may well be losing his own identity

    not with a bang but a whimper…

  • Sue Sonata Form says:

Mirga may be burning the candle at both ends; mother and full time conductor. Both are extremely demanding gigs.

  • Peter San Diego says:

I hope her illness is not serious and that she recovers rapidly.

  • Jan Kaznowski says:

This all shows that conductors aren’t indispensable. For this rearranged concert, the composer conducts his own composition, the pianist directs from the piano and the concertmaster takes over for the Purcell.

Ah well….. I have the other version of this ‘cancellation’ story…..and I’m informed Covid is not the issue.

  • Kyle says:

Mirga’s Sick [fill in the blank] did what?

Mirga’s sick baby got the conductor’s favorite baton stuck up her nose, perhaps?
