Australia mourns principal ballerina
NewsThe death has been announced of Lucette Aldous, resident principal dancer with The Australian Ballet and the female lead in the film of Don Quixote, starring Rudolf Nureyev.
Lucette was 82.
New Zealander by origin, she grew up in Sydney and took her first professional steps in London.
One of the greats. There are not many left.
