We are promised a joyous hour of theatrical nostalgia with sparklies the like of Jordan Donica, Rosemary Harris, Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald, Ruthie Ann Miles, Seth Numrich, Steven Pasquale, Paulo Szot, Ayad Akhtar, Lileana Blain-Cruz, and Bartlett Sher remembering iconic LCT productions plus a preview of the 2021-22 season ahead! It’s a fundraiser, of course, but it looks like a pretty classy one.

Well said. Lincoln Center Theater, since it’s re-opening in 1985–under the guiding hand of the late Bernard Gersten–has always been a class act. It is the one constituent at Lincoln Center that does not seem to be in a constant state of Sturm und Drang, yet they continue to present challenging and popular works for affordable prices. Almost immediately after its inception, it became a force in New York City’s cultural landscape. Live long and prosper!
