Past students are reporting the death of Carolyn Hague, Head of Song Interpretation at Vienna’s university of music and arts.

A former assistant to  Sir Charles Mackerras at Decca, she has given recitals with Walter Berry, Angelika Kirchschlager, Birgid Steinberger, Kurt Azesberger, Anna Maria Pammer, Linda Watson and others. Her husband, Michael Pinkerton, is a fellow-teacher at the university.

Carolyn was a wonderful teacher and musician. She will be greatly missed by those who had the privilege to know
    and work with her.
