Interlochen names music chief
OrchestrasInterlochen Center for the Arts has named Enrique Márquez as its new Director of Music, a post that has been vacant for two years since Kedrik Merwin left to run an orchestra.
Márquez joins Interlochen from Harvard, where he ran concerts and events and was administrator of the Fromm Music Foundation, a major source of new music commissions.
He is also an alumnus of Interlochen.
