La Scala really does look beautiful at night.
What can one add? Except to say that one hopes ALL the staff were “furloughed” unlike all the theatre, concert hall and opera house workers that weren’t in this wretched cultural backwater…
watched “Salome” from Scala via Rai5 with Elina Stikhina. Convincing rendition multiplied by huge voice of a sheer beauty. I think it is still on Rai5. Free of charge. I wish you, Norman, could watch it .
