The Halle conductor Sir Mark Elder was a last-minute savious of a Beethoven ninth symphony by the period-instrument Hanover Band after its intended conductor,  Benjamin Bayl, was hit by Covid travel issues.

It’s believed to be the only Beethoven Ninth to be recorded during Covid. The soloists are Sophie Bevan (Soprano), Madeleine Shaw (Mezzo), Ed Lyon (Tenor), and Darren Jeffery (Baritone). The performance can be heard from 8pm tonight on the band’s website here.
