A two-hour film with Concerto Budapest Symphony Orchestra & Kremerata Baltica, led by András Keller and Gidon Kremer and directed by Imre Szabó Stein, won a coveted Golden Lion this week at the Venice Television Festival.

I have heard enough of this Weinberg’s mediocrity

  • Brahms The Best says:

Dear Norman, there is a scandal happening at the moment in Hungary, involving András Keller and a cellist from his orchestra, Concerto Budapest. She apparently quit accusing Keller of verbal abuse.

The article is in Hungarian but can be decently be translated with Google.

Concerto Budapest is one of the finest orchestras there is in Central Europe, and it is too bad to learn that their musicians have to deal through this kind of situation.
