From the Amarillo Symphony:

We mourn the passing of Orin Foard, a bassist in the Amarillo Symphony.

Orin was a kind and gentle soul who contributed significantly to this community. Not only did he perform with the Symphony for 25 years, but he also impacted the lives of many children by coaching bass players in the Amarillo Symphony Youth Orchestra and visiting schools as part of String Family, a program introducing students to string instruments.

    RIP.
this reminds me…didn’t San Antonio, TX use to have an opera company?

More blood on Trump’s hands. So sorry to hear of this loss.

    R.I.P.

A really nice human being. Many of you could have learned a thing or two from him.

My first reaction is “Oh! When will this end!”

My second reaction–some in the US say that since Covid kills mainly seniors let’s just protect them and then open up for others. Deaths such as this 47 year old prove that Covid is not a disease which just kills seniors.

May his family, and the orchestra, find peace.
