    What a grueling irdeal if a kesson, and an ungrateful piece, Prokofiev’s “Suggestion diabolique”, isn’t it? Will she ever get those hammered forte double trills right to suit her teacher?

    this piece was on Alexis “Sigi” Weissenberg’s debut LP, a 10″ Columbia, with his first version of Scriabin’s exquisite Nocturne for the left hand, Op. 9, No. 2, which he played better than anyone dead or alive; a Scriabine prelude in B-flat minor, and more PRKFV … the third sonata?
