The Polish conductor Krzysztof Urbański, music director in Indiannapolis, has joined Germany’s Tanja Dorn for worldwide management. He was with HarrisonParrott in London until 2017.

Urbanski, 38, has been ten years in Indy and may be ready to expand his horizons.

Maybe Tanja knows of a good men’s hairdresser…

  • Larry says:

Surely there’s a better way to refer to the maestro than “Pole.”

    • Diane Valerie says:

Anyone who happens to be Polish is always referred to as “Pole” on this site. Messrs. Beczala and Kwiecien are frequently referred to as “Pole” – as in “Pole cancels …” or “Pole bows out of …”. I look forward to the day when Herr Kaufmann is defined uniquely as “Bavarian” or Monsieur Alagna as “French” but it ain’t going to happen. I don’t know what it does to Poles but it annoys the hell out of me.

  • Rodrigo says:

This guy is a total jerk by all reports. As I recall he tried to fire a group of older players in Indy. Entitled, ageist jerk.

    At last..good decision! filharmonika
