What are you talking about?
Of the works planned for the concert hall, the first one for large orchestra doesn’t take place until December, with Prokofiev 6. Up to that point there’s a lot of Beethoven and other works that can be performed with modestly sized string sections and double winds.

Until a working vaccin is found, or until concert halls can be made corona proof – furnished with ventilation systems that filter the air of micro droplets.

Hope that they will go outside of Germany. I have tickets for two concerts of them in November with Triffonov and Mutter. I’am affraid that it will be gone with the covid…
SWR recently announced the beginning of their new season (Sept-Dec) with conductors Teodor Currentzis, Manfred Honeck, Ingo Metzmacher, Michael Sanderling, artist in residence Patricia Kopatchinskaja, and guest concerts in Hamburg, Vienna, Essen, Luxemburg in September. No doubt fewer people on stage and in the audience, but the ability of German orchestras to adapt and safely carry on a concert season during these times is impressive.
Actually, the series opens on 12 September with all Beethoven; no chamber music at all.
