La Scala’s orchestra hops from yard to yard

The Filarmonica is resuming work in the open air – in some of the most spectacular courtyards of Milano.

The musicians will give 24 concerts in small groups, starting June 26.

    I applaud their creativity in finding suitable and beautiful venues. However, I believe the video made to advertise the concert series made more use of tuning cacophony than is advised.

    Smart to stay outdoors, to social distance, play in small groups etc. Remember that Italy has been hit particularly hard by covid.
