Harmonia Mundi has let it be known that it has gone back to recording after a three-month hiatus.

Nothing large-scale, but the next few projects in its Vivaldi series, which is always good fun.

I actually believe that during the pandemic a number of record labels have seen a positive increase (even substantial) in terms of revenue. Depending on their market. Lot of people have been increasing their level of listening through mail orders. Considering this, going for a hiatus might have been a mistake. Of course, the situation is totally different when it comes to artists: the Harmonia Mundi artists and ensembles have been hit hard in particular.

It’s better to ease back into recording rather than do nothing at all.
