The Leipzig Gewandhaus will reopening on June 7 with chamber music for a distanced audience. Works include Mieczyslaw Weinberg, lesser-known Beethoven, HK Gruber and two world premieres from Lera Auerbach and Steffen Schleiermacher, as well as a Sinfonia by Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach that hasn’t been heard since 1740.

The Concertgebouworkest will live-stream Dvořák’s Eighth Symphony on Friday, 5 June at 8.15, conducted by Gustavo Gimeno.
