Aren’t Harry and Meghan looking for a bargain in LA?

  • A.L. says:

By LA standards, that’s like the price of a shack or parking garage. That or he has been advised to get out of town as soon as possible with whatever he can.

  • Paul Dawson says:

Amazed at the price. I’d have expected 2 parking spaces alone to go for that sort of money in downtown LA. There’s surely got to be a catch. It’s not the HOA, because that’s just $1k per month. I might even be in the market for it myself. I shall ask a realtor friend for insight.

  • Mary says:

And he has a $500,000 hush payment to make.

“Domingo … is best known for his performances with the Three Tenors.” — Los Angeles Times

    Vergogna

    • Bruce says:

Vergogna indeed; but a glimpse of reality.

Even Pavarotti at his peak was only “classical-music famous.” When people who had never heard of Pavarotti, Carreras, or Domingo became aware of the Three Tenors, he was just “the fat one.” The others didn’t even get that much.

  • Mustafa Kandan says:

    Very cheap.

  • sam says:

You can get a 2-bedroom, 2-bath 1,200 sq ft apartment in a full-service building in downtown LA for $500K????!!!!

    I’m moving there.

  • Fiddlist says:

    Nah they forgot a zero.

  • Rob says:

    Did he sell out?

  • Bruce says:

Maybe the (luxury) housing market has crashed spectacularly there??

  • jea says:

He is probably the greatest tenor who ever lived, so let us remember him for this.

    • We Hold These Truths says:

I’m sorry but the world’s greatest tenor should be able to hit and hold a B natural without putting his testicles in a vice.

  • YB Schragadove says:

This building, Promenade West Condominiums, was in the news soon after the Walt Disney Concert Hall (neighboring the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion) was built across the way. Residents complained about the glare and reflected heat emanating from WDCH’s mirror-polished stainless steel rooftop, making parts of the building stifling hot.

    • Paul Dawson says:

Interesting. Guidance from an independent realtor is that the condo is fairly priced. I can resist punning that you comment “sheds light” on the apparent anomaly.
