Virus claims the life of French sax star

The death of Manu Dibango has been announced on his Facebook page.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the loss of Manu Dibango, our Papy Groove, who passed away on 24th of March 2020, at 86 years old, further to covid 19.

The Cameroon-born virtuoso was a lion of world music festivals.

    I remember talking to my elderly mother last week about this virus and the danger it particularly presented for older people. My mother said that everyone must die one day, so what if she died as a result of Covid 19. As a result of this virus we may not all make it to hundred and ten years. Do we really want to live that long?
