Meet Peter Whelan, artistic director of the Irish Baroque Orchestra.
Well, someone had to.
One of the better ones.
Another hidden (and groovy) treasure from the enormous catalogue of Cantatas. You can’t stop tapping your foot when listening to this.
It’s no wonder that Jazz musicians consider Bach a soul brother.
Here’s another gem:
Utterly brilliant – Peter is not only a fabulous bassoonist (as we all know), but he’s a fine keyboard player, and then here he shows he can sing both bass and countertenor as well as many who do these jobs (in normal times) for their livelihood. A true musical polymath (and he’s a really nice man to boot). More please, Peter!
Brilliant, amazing what talent can achieve with the little help from technology
Just delightful!! Thank you!

Ensemble Marsyas pared down to the bare essentials, quite amazing!
Wonderful, bravo, all the performers!
