We have been notified of the death of Kenneth Wentworth, a prolific and much-recorded pianist who founded the artist agency now known as Jonathan Wentworth Associates.

His wife and four-hand piano partner Jean Wentworth died in 2017 after 68 years of marriage.

The agency represents Colin Carr, Eunice Kim, Andrew Parrott, among others.

  • Eric Amada says:

Kenneth Wentworth was truly one of the great gentleman in our industry. I do not know of a single colleague who would say otherwise. Always took the time for anyone. May his legacy be for a blessing for many.

  • drummerman says:

A wonderful, wonderful man. Just about 3 months ago he emailed me with information about some job openings he thought I might be interested. This, despite everything else he was dealing with in his own life. RIP: Kenneth. A true gentleman, in every sense of the word.

  • Rose says:

Jean and her “good friend Kenneth Wentworth” were mainstays of the music department at Sarah Lawrence College, though Kenneth was officially retired when I was there. Both were dedicated educators and the best of people.
