  • Interesting how the style is classic social realism. Whatever one might think, it stands in huge contrast to the USA where organizations like the Met and the National Symphony have simply stopped paying their musicians in response to the virus. And in contrast to Germany which has allocated $50 billion to aid free lance artists and cultural businesses. Germany is also maintaining the salaries of close to 10,000 musicians it employs full time in its 133 stated owned orchestras and 83 state owned opera houses.
