We just have to accept that most of us will end up getting this virus sooner or later and hope that a vaccination will be available soon. All the current attempts in quarantine will be ineffective. If we keep shutting up institutions, in the end most of us may be alright, but left with much less in terms of cultural institutions (as we are in the process of bankrupting them). It is remarkable how major cultural institutions have survived two devastating world wars only to be ruined by us at the first sign of a world epidemic. I don’t think civilisation as we know it would survive any longer if we faced anything close to what they faced in the 20th century.

Most of us will NOT end up getting it sooner or later and many of us will turn the vaccination down also if/when it becomes available. So much scaremongering…

Only around one-in-four get the regular flu. Why would “most of us” to this strain of the flu?

Why are you using a picture of the LSO?
