  • What hit songs Rogers& Hammerstein had plenty Cole Porter had plenty Gershwin had plenty but I have never come out of the theatre humming a Lloyd Webber ditty

    • I suppose Andrew Lloyd Webber and his “Memory”, “Don’t Cry for me Argentina”, “All I ask of you”, “Wishing you were somehow here again” – alongside his 330 million sold tickets – can live with that.

    • That makes you less adequate than some tiny tots here, not to mention a cat.

This is just ordinary people raising their voices, and hearts, in song. Under pretty tough conditions.Take your sniffy nose and mask it.
