The Chilean-American tenor Jonathan Tetelman writes:
Very excited to say that I will be making my @royaloperahouse debut a bit early as Alfredo in LA TRAVIATA. I was literally about to check in for my flight when I got a call from @guyjbarzilay to keep my bags packed and head off to London immediately; A truly crazy world! Also am very excited to work alongside this excellent cast and an incredible maestro, @danieloren.

Tetelman with partner Kristine Opolais.

Rame Lahaj has pulled out of the ROH Traviata run. Tetelman will share Alfredo Germont with Charles Castronovo.

“Hauled off flight”? He said he was about to check in. You can do that from your phone on the sofa.

It would be cool if you toned down the dramatic and mendacious headlines from time to time, Norman.

Norman likes clicks, and headlines that will get people to actually read the content which is usually just copied and pasted. Has to get people to read his stuff, somehow. I mean, sometimes he even pronounces people dead who are actually alive, and then blames others instead of actually confirming sources (kind of important when talking about someone being dead). Oh well…

About time, he is great and will make the perfect Alfredo: handsome, dark, bright wonderful voice but masculine… reminds me of Kaufmann when young.

  • Ann Q says:

Now that Pavarotti has left us…THIS is the voice of the CENTURY !!!! Opera Houses should be falling over themselves to gain his attention..
