Exclusive: Violinist gets to play at the Grammys – a UK first

We hear that Nicola Benedetti will be performing a solo piece by Wynton Marsalis at the Premiere Ceremony program of tonight’s Grammy awards. The Scot is believed to be the first British violinist ever to play at the Grammys.

There will also be a brief classical spot by Joshua Bell and Lang Lang in the telecast finale, ahead of the announcement of Artist of the Year.
