Pieter Vance Wyckoff, bass trombone with the Hong Kong Philharmonic, was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year. His friends have set up a foundation to promote early diagnosis. Bones from many world orchestras have come together in support.

  • Bone says:

    So moving. RIP, Pieter.

  • V. Lind says:

What a remarkable project. Fullest congratulations to all involved.

  • Axl says:

This was WOW!!! Respect of all these players! I just wonder where was the famous bass trombone guys (Paul Pollard, Ben van Dijk, Matyas Veer, Csaba Wagner, Charlie Vernon, Stefan Schultz, Raymond Munnecom e.g.) because Pieter was bass trombonist and bass trombone players have their own special things and so on?
