    Brilliant! but let’s not forget the handful who made dodecaphony work. A real musician can succeed within any confines. It’s the charletons who wasted our time.

      When well done, Christmas music can sound wonderful. The Jessye Norman concert in another blogpost is a prime example.
      Unfortunately, Christmas music done in bad taste is ubiquitous.

      My youtube dream is a video of a mailman singing a twelve-tone melody. Alas, I don’t have the guts to approach my wonderful local mailman with such a proposal. I can only hope that some day a voice student will take a gig in mail delivery and pull it off.
