The Hollywood star, ex-husband of Melanie Griffith, was helping out his hometown band this morning.

    Not too shabby! My favorite actor-as-conductor is still Cary Grant in the 1951 film “People Will Talk”, doing a very decent job with Brahms’ “Academic Festival Overture” (scroll to 27:50):
