The violin professor and concertmaster Pertti Sutinen has died of what is described as a severe illness.
Sutinen, who taught at Sibelius Academy and Lahti Conservatory, was also violinist of the Lahti Trio.
Past students include Elina Vähälä, Satu Vänskä, Maaria Leino and Päivyt Meller.
