Death of a Chicago concertmaster, 85

Elliott Golub, founder concertmaster of Chicago’s Music of the Baroque from 1972 to 2006, has died in the city, local media report.

He was previously concertmaster of the Robert Shaw Chorale and Seventh Army Orchestra.
