Concertmaster undergoes brain surgery

The former LSO leader John Georgiadis, who recently published his memoirs, has undergone surgery in London for  brain tumour.

We wish him a speedy recovery.

    Oh my gosh – we heard a Johann Strauss concert “concertmastered” by him at the Royal Albert Hall on our honeymoon in 1979!
    We sat way up in the rafters with the young students and we all loved every minute of it!
