I attended the premiere: she was simply overwhelming!!!

  • Ned Keene says:

The lead tenor role of Paul is a notoriously heavy sing, too – I hope they saved a clap or two for him as well? 😉

  • Novagerio says:

She is indeed a phenomenon! Don’t miss her given the chance!

  • John Kelly says:

We can’t get her at the Met though………….

  • Brinton says:

She is fabulous, but we are burying the lede. Die tote Stadt was just put on for the first time ever at La Scala! The Korngold revival is real and it is here to stay. A forgotten curiosity, he is assuming what I believe is his rightful place among the great composers of the 20th century

  • I saw Asmik Grigorian as Marie in Wozzeck in Amsterdam. She is absolutely a phenomenon.
