The death is reported of Jean-Christophe Benoît, a noted interpreter of French chanson.

In one of his many recordings, he appeared together with his mother and his sister.

    Dunno what you mean with “French chanson”, Norman, we rather call it “mélodie française” (French art song). But J.C. Benoît also appeared as Sacristan opposite Callas’ Tosca (he used to recall the Divina glaring at him on stage…)
