In March 2016 in Tampa, he was arrested on charges of child trafficking and child pornography….

Madsen subsequently pleaded guilty, and on May 26, 2017, he was sentenced in federal court to 17 1/2 years in prison…

As I have saud repeatedly, “Sociopath” is part of the job description.

  • So who jumped in to conduct the concert he missed?

This is very sad from almost all perspectives. Let us not forget that in some cultures, this kind of activity would not raise too many eyebrows. It has been said that none other than French composer Camille Saint Saens had a predilection for young boys. I don’t know whether that’s true or not. It was said about Henryk Szeryng, James Levine, and Leonard Bernstein, too. Eight years ago, Russian piano player Mikhael Pletnev also had an allegation about this issue. I have no clue whether any of that stuff is actually true. It might just be a bunch of rumors gone awry. Who really knows?

What in God’s name are you talking about? Sexually exploiting a vulnerable 16 year old girl and trying to pay to have sex with a 14 year old girl (and possessing and creating violent child porn) only doesn’t raise eyebrows in other pedophiles- congrats on outing yourself if I were a cop I’d get a warrant and search your devices as they did his (he got over 18 years and on watch list rest of his life)

    • Saxon Broken says:

Actually, the “rumour” about Pletnev is that is what “set up” in Thailand in order to extract money from him. He refused to pay and went to court, where he won the case.

  • Karl says:

That happened in VT with the Windham orchestra several years ago. The conductor was charged with possessing child pornography. He got 2 years in prison.
