German with a French connection wins the LSO Flick
mainOn the eve of the UK’s shambling exit from all those late-night EU summit fudges, Felix Mildenberger was named winner of the LSO Donatella Flick conducting competition.
Felix,who is German, is Assistant Conductor of the Orchestre National de France.
He collects £15,000 and the chance to be Assistant Conductor of the LSO – provided he can get a work permit.
