Christus factus est – Bruckner
Bruckner, yes. But it sounds like Virga Jesse to me.
You are correct! Both great tunes.
Great tunes indeed.
And the outdoor acoustics are no worse than inside the hall.
That hall is a tear-down. Even if they gutted the interior and were lucky enough to get it to look and sound good (but after 2 strike outs, what are the chances?), they would still be left with a painfully dated exterior. So just get rid if that thing already.
“painfully dated exterior”
This must be like all buildings over 50 years old. Like the Chrysler Building in New York or St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. Or the Doumo in Florence, the Baptistry in Pisa or Notre Dame in Paris. Or even the Pantheon in Rome or the Parthenon in Athens. All of their time and now out of date.
