A hang over from the days of the USSR. The Sov’s put a lot of effort into pushing the “Israel Evil” theme among the leftist around the world. It was a gift that just keeps giving.

    • Alex Davies says:

Was the USSR particularly influential in Chile? Quite the opposite, I thought.

      • BillG says:

The Sovs were experts at disinformation well before the 2018 election. They played this hand well with left leaning groups in Europe and around the world They used it to bolster the status of their favored states in the Middle East.

Chile hosted quite a population of Nazi refugees, their legacy is clearly showing. The government should quash this and fast.

  • Conducting Feminista says:

This orchestra would not be in this predicament if they had a woman conductor instead.

  • Stan Squires says:

I am from Vancouver,Canada and I wanted to say that the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra should be boycotted in all of Latin America and the rest of the world. This orchestra symbolizes Israeli Apartheid and that is why it should be boycotted worldwide.A lot of well known singers have boycotted Israel and they have got support from around the world for it.

    • simonelvladtepes says:

      There is no Israeli apartheid.

    • Ms.Melody says:

It is quite astonishing that such vile, extreme views are allowed to be expressed on a classical music blog! BDS is a menace. It promotes hatred towards one country and does it with a great deal of false information. This poster is shameful and should have never seen the light of day.
