Do we get a discount if we say Slipped Disc sent us?

  • Caravaggio says:

One hopes the new owners are willing and capable of honoring and respecting the history and contributions of the former inhabitant of this villa.

  • Rob says:

    She sang for Mahler

  • Mark says:

That’s about $1.9M – in NYC, you can (maybe) have a small two-bedroom apartment for this sum …

  • Jeffrey Miller says:

She started the Salzburg festival (singing Donna Anna at age 66).
In her prime she was one of greatest Brünnhildes and Isoldes.

In 1906 and 1907 she recorded:
Abscheulicher (complete on 3 sides!! – unique during the acoustic era)
    Non mi dir
    Ach ich liebte
    Martern aller Arten
    Sempre libera
    Casta diva
    O beau pays
    Du bist der Lenz
    Liebestod
    O had I jubal’s lyre
She was 58 and 59 years old at these recording sessions tossing off coloratura and high D’s with equal abandon and ease.
Lilli Lehmann was truly one of the greatest sopranos in history.
