Surely the Eurovision Song Contest is a secret plot to destroy popular music…

    • robbie in stamford says:

Less than secret, imo quite open and unashamed about it.

Maybe F. Boggs, master designer of all crap facilities can come up with a real, live device that will Whoosh away all Eurovision’s Song Contest audio and visual detritus with the simple yank of a chain……..

  • Elizabeth Owen says:

I don’t understand why Israel and Australia are allowed to compete in the EUROvision competition.

    • James says:

Eurovision has nothing to do with geography. It’s a state of mind.

    • Sue says:

      I’m with you on this!!

    • RODNEY GREENBERG says:

It’s because they are members of the European Broadcasting Union … the EBU. In the case of Israel (whose TV service was set up with the help of a BBC TV man, Stuart Hood), from the earliest days of the EBU in 1950.

      • Elizabeth Owen says:

Oh, thanks for that. But Australia?

        • Rodney Greenberg says:

You’ll find the answer if you google “Australia in Eurovision Song Contest.” They have been for the last four years. I know, it’s all a bit weird…

  • larry says:

    Fantastic!

  • Esfir Ross says:

“Goy for Toy?”-very disrespectful connotation. “Nonjew only as play bubble”. Racist comment.

  • ketzel says:

Very funny. And although Netta sang it better, if this version had been in Eurovision, it wouldn’t have been the worst entry.
