Well, I only met one conductor – at several concerts in different citiies – to whom I was tempted to offer my room key. I never did – that’s just never my style. What an enormous risk – in many ways – that would have been. (Not that I wasn’t interested in the fellow – but really. How tacky. )
I think the real question is, what can be done to get that statistic up to 80 or 90 percent (?).
This could give a whole new meaning to “#metoo”
