Meet Colette Maze, a pupil of Alfred Cortot and Nadia Boulanger and a piano teacher all her life.

Colette adores Debussy.

She will be 104 on June 16.

    While I have known teachers active nearly as long, not still playing, and so remarkably. I love how elderly musicians do away with all that is unnecessary.

    But envy any student of Collete Maze…amazing, another proof that music is the food for the soul….so live on.
