A true personality. He was my teacher at the Musikhochschule Graz for “Partiturspiel und Instrumentation”. Maybe not the greatest teacher, academically spoken, but you could learn from his musical world anyway, as I did. A prolific composer and a gentleman of a past time, and an outstanding pianist. He could wonderfully improvise in all styles.
