Dame Gwyneth hits back in Wagner Society war

We reported last month that all is not well at the UK Wagner Society.

Well, it just got a whole lot worse.

The Society’s president, Dame Gwyneth Jones, has hit back in a Telegraph interview at member who threatened her for legal action for defamation and accused her of losing lots of money on unwanted masterclasses.

‘I am frankly surprised and dismayed,’ says Dame G.

    As an old journalist, I’m totally mystified as to why the Sunday Telegraph should have bothered to print this article yesterday, since it published an almost identical version of it, by the same author, on the previous Sunday. The only new thing this time round is a comment at the end by the chairman of the Wagner Society. I hope we won’t have to put up with a third version next Sunday!

      I’m afraid the Telegraph is not the paper it once was; these days it reads to me as if it’s being written by debutantes and interns

        Here, here. The one in NYC someone intentionally threw out a lost leather glove, for no reason, but to thwart its owner retrieving it!!! Creeps.
