Russia sends orchestra to celebrate Israel’s 70th
mainThe St Petersburg Philharmonic will visit Israel for the first time in May to join celebrations for the country’s 70th independence anniversary.
Yuri Temirkanov conducts. Nikolai Lugansky is the soloist.
How come you don’t make sarcastic comments? Oh because it’s Termikanov and not Gergiev. Oh and Israel is squeaky clean.
Sarcasm is uncalled-for in this context.
No one is “squeaky clean”, but Temirkanov is certainly cleaner than Gergiev and Israel has so far been the cleanest in its neighborhood.
