Who cares? The guy is a prick.

    • Jeffrey Rogers says:

Really? Why is it that people who respond like this never have the guts to leave their real name?

    • Another old man in the Midwest says:

This couldn’t be further from the truth. Tito is one of the most gracious and most talented musicians I’ve ever worked with. The Cleveland Orchestra adores him. Congrats, Tito!

  • Giuseppe says:

Excited for him! Tito is one of the most talented and knowledgeable musicians I know. A rare example in a music world which is infested with conductors who have absolutely no idea of what they are doing on the podium.

  • Cubs Fan says:

His orchestra isn’t 100% behind him yet. But audiences sure like him. Interesting, balanced programming. Exciting performances. A recent Brahms 1 that was just perfect. And he’s a terrific violinist.

    • db says:

Normally, 33% of the orchestra are behind their music director, 33% would like to get behind but to stab him/her in the back, and the remaining third couldn’t care less.
