  • Ungeheuer says:

    Fabulous violinist

  • Janne Seppänen says:

He’s a fascinating violinist, playing not only the ‘repertoire’ pieces but also concertos by more recent composers like Adès and Dutilleux. Definitely recordings worth checking out!

  • Robert Holmén says:

I heard him when he played with the Dallas Symphony a few years ago. He did the Caprice #6 as an encore.

Inspiring personal story; he clawed his way back to performing after being severely burned in a fire.

  • Bruce says:

Terrific player. I know recordings don’t usually make people rich anymore, but he deserves to have a recorded legacy preserved for posterity. (And if he gets rich, that’s OK too 🙂 )

  • JOHN MCLAUGHLIN WILLIAMS says:

Superb. I don’t buy many recordings anymore, but this one I will with certainty.

  • Sweethomechicago says:

A fantastic player he is! His Mozart Turkish blew me away.
