Irish opera gets an artistic director
mainThe newly formed Irish National Opera has appointed Fergus Sheil to work as artistic director alongside executive director Diego Fasciati.
Other hires: Gavin O’Sullivan is head of production and Sorcha Carroll will do the marketing.
The opening production is Marriage of Figaro at Wexford, next April.
