terrible…..
Can you justify your judgement?
Admittedly it’s not Benjamin Grosvenor and Daniil Trifonov playing, but it’s rather good fun nevertheless.
Brilliant playing.
Many years ago the BBC did a documentary on the Finnish variant of tango. Enormous fun.
Mike, maybe it’s something about the Finns. They also have a pretty strange version of baseball.

I think Yuja Wang’s playing gives us reason to discuss and analyze her. Khatia B does not. Yuja balances excellent playing with the use (but perhaps not the overuse) of celebrity dynamics. Khatia is pretty much all the way over on the celebrity end of the spectrum. Here she and her sister go through the hair, makeup, and costuming process and then bang on an out-of-tune piano and mug for the camera. Are there not better candidates among pianists for our attention?

It looks like she wants to rise her “celebrity” status even more. If a marvellous love story with Hollywood glam or clever PR stunt we’ll never know…
A bit over the top, crude showmanship. But harmless.
Best shampoo commercial ever!
I found it quite entertaining! Two beautiful talented ladies playing a piano duet!
