Yikes. But, for my needs, Apple Music does quite well. Although I wish they featured Flagstad’s debut as Sieglinde at the Metropolitan which is available on Spotify. But I can only subscribe to one streaming service and one only.

This has been a long time coming. Hopefully Jason Scott and archive.org will do their usual spectacular job in saving data from yet another collapsing website. First there will be an announced that Soundcloud has been acquired, then they’ will be a ‘goodbye, hasn’t it been great?’ announcement on the site, and finally they will be a load of upset former users.

  • Gustav Mahler says:

For classical music you should use IDAGIO, the fair trade streaming service.

  • Bram Stoker says:

What on earth is streaming? I am still playing my vast collection of 78s and LPs. I still have a gramophone and set Thorn needles left which my grandfather (a Captain in the 5th RMF ) had in his CP at the Izonzo front.
