Bravo Dima! So good to see you back. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Good news! Are there any reviews on this recital yet available? Or has anybody of you attended the concert?

  • Zelda Macnamara says:

Judging by the comments and clips on Facebook, he did more than just “come through”. The encore Ochi Chernye sounded as good ever.

  • Kristina Pax says:

Already waiting for the next concert of our beloved, magical Dmitri Aleksandrovich in our city, of Toronto. Thousands thanks to the Producer- Svetlana Dvoretskaya for making my dream come true. I am still, processing it through my brain that I was really there on April 25 in our Opera House and saw this magnificent artist-Dmitri Hvorostovsky on stage with my own eyes. It was an unforgettable experience. One in a lifetime!

    Hi folks.
I’ve been following Dmitri’s progress. Came across this clip, which shows him with his right arm in a sling, and looking unwell. He was presented with an award of some sort, spoke to the audience, then walked unsteadily offstage.

I don’t speak or read Russian. Can someone please enlighten me/us?

    Cheers
    Steve
